According with the Spanish regulation all the machines, produced before 1\/1\/1995, should achieve the RD 1215\/97<\/strong> (Royal decree in the Spanish regulation), where the minimum safety requisites are shown. The process to improve a machine or an installation to take it to the necessary safety level is called ADAPTATION<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/span><\/span>\n

Complete encapsulation of the machine<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\nIn Safeman, S.L. we move to your company and analyze the machinery according to the law so that they can be adapted to the RD1215\/97.\r\n\r\nOur basis for this step is a 'Check list' made by our own technicians, where all the specific key aspects about safety level of a machine are collected.\r\n\r\nThe result is a Conformity Report with the following items:\r\n

    RD1215\/97 adaptation<\/h3>

    Cutter adaptation<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\nWe design the necessary measures to take your machines and equipment to the right level of safety. These measures are based on the principals of removing or isolating the existing risks, or reduce them in other cases.\r\n\r\nWe coordinate the design of the solutions in case that our customers want a final certification of a 3rd party.\r\n\r\nIn some cases our customers have already a Conformity Report developed by other service company or their own. These reports are our working base when we design the counter measures.\r\n\r\nAdditionally and in case that our specialist detects some other risks not included in those reports, the detected hazards will be kept in mind during the design process of the counter measures.\r\n\r\nWhether you haven\u2019t got any analysis or the safety level of your machinery and equipment is unknown, SAFEMAN, S.L. will analyze them.\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>

    Machinery renewing<\/h3>

    Safeguards for a grinding machine<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\nIn case that our customer wants or needs to renew the machinery, or simply he wants to do the main maintenance, SAFEMAN, S.L. analyzes and modifies or replaces those damaged or in bad conditions components.\r\n\r\nIt\u2019s included an inspection and test of the safety functions and the corresponding components.\r\n\r\nThe renewing of the machines and equipments doesn\u2019t only include an update of it, but an analysis of those parts that want to be improved. This means that the improvement involves reaching the necessary safety level.\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>

    Machinery modification<\/h3>

    Fixed safeguard of transparent methacrylate<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\nSometimes it is needed to make some modifications in the equipment, machines and installations to adapt them to the current production system of our customers.\r\n\r\nIt could be simply a very good chance to modify all those obsolete machines, to change and make them to produce again.\r\n\r\nWhenever the original designed functions will not be changed, it is possible to make a modification of the equipments.\r\n\r\nWhen SAFEMAN, S.L. designs the modification measures of a machine, analyzes the safety level to be reached after modification. In this way all the components that should be installed to achieve the requirement of the RD 1215\/97 are considered.\r\n\r\nAlter the modifications, SAFEMAN, S.L. write up and provide the corresponding Conformity Report, and the necessary safety instructions.\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>

    Conformity report<\/h3>
    \r\n\r\nOnce the machines, equipment or installations are already adapted, renewed or modified, so that the safety of the workers is guaranteed, we write a Conformity Final Report. This document indicates that the machine, equipment or installation is adapted and fulfils all the requirements of the RD 1215\/97.\r\n\r\nIn this final report the entire designed and implemented specific counter measures are described, also a list of the residual risks and the evaluation of them. In this way the customer will know about those risks and is able to inform and train the users of the machine.\r\n\r\nEven so, we can support our customer, preparing some instructions to use the equipment on the right safety way.\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div>

    Safety instructions<\/h3>

    Marking<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\nSAFEMAN, S.L. analyzes the production system of our customer production lines, and the functions in detail of every equipment once it is already adapted. Alter that, we are able to write up the safety instructions so that the users of the machines can do their job in a safety condition.\r\n\r\nIn those instructions we point out the scope of the equipments, the different function ways (including those that are not strictly productive), the residual risks and the available safety systems.\r\n\r\nIn some special cases, could be helpful to write up some procedures for a specific operation. Normally these operations are not often carrying out with the machine. Knowing that these special situations could involve some additional risks, we train the workers and supervisors so that they are able to do these special operations in a safety way.\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
